A medium sized biotech facility for a leading biopharmaceutical company was looking for a cost effective asset management program after cutbacks had eliminated most of the metrology and maintenance staff. CSA Soliance presented a solution to manage the assets of the laboratories and provide or coordinate service as necessary. There were not enough assets to justify a large onsite team, so CSA Soliance performed much of the administrative work remotely and utilized regionally based field service engineers for support.
This approach resulted in significant savings for the client which was in the process of consolidating operations. While the site was eventually closed, the program was deemed a success.
